This is pretty much what happens in Football (or, Soccer, to you Americans) in the UK, and beyond. Except that the fans don’t usually fight in the stands, but have formed “firms” and come tooled up for an after-match battle, and it doesn’t matter what the match’s outcome was.
And the English fans wonder why they get banned from overseas matches.
