That’s no worse than having a buddy giving you tips on how to talk to a lady. These days it could be a guy on his phone talking to you through an ear bud. With this guy’s luck, his buddy would be drunk and start talking about her butt and boobs, not awkward at all!

I used to think I needed to be overly confident like Johnny Bravo, but as I got a little bit older, I learned to just be my nerdy self. Not geeky or pervy but providing reasonably intelligent discussion about whatever the girls are talking about usually goes a long ways to making a connection. And listening to them can go farther than trying to be brilliant. My $0.02.
