Wizard of Oz

Funny thing is, next to all those other characters, Batman just looks like a mental case.
A living scarecrow, tin man and talking lion, okay.
A full grown man wearing a cape and tights?
Weirdo…

Lmao, batman IS a mental case.
It’s weird that scarecrow bleeds here though, I guess it was the real scarecrow from batman.

I thought that was odd, too! The book and the movie specifically states that the Scarecrow has only straw as stuffing; that’s why being attacked by the Wicked Witch and her flying simians doesn’t hurt him and why he’s not affected by the field of poppies.

The whole ‘dream’ theory seems fishy to me, I mean how many dreams do you ever have when you get smacked unconscious? I still say that Dorothy found that snake-oil salesman and he gave her some really REALLY good weed, and the entire journey of the Wizard of Oz was her just walking back home high and falling asleep in her tub.

So if this scarecrow is bleeding. Then Batman was right! The other scarecrow was murdered and the one from batman was impersonating him.

Considering that the Tinman, Scarecrow, and Cowardly Lion were all part of Dorothy’s dream; it’s quite possible Scarecrow hopped himself into some little girl’s dream after her night of watching Wizard of Oz to hide from the Batman, thinking he would never do violence in front of a child.

Hah, was he ever wrong! 😀

Posting from 2016. This had me laughing not just because of the obvious mistaken-identity joke, but because the 2015 game Lego Dimensions makes the very same comparison. (Though in a much less violent way, given the nature of Lego games.)

Your other comics are some seriously funny stuff too. Think I’ll stick around for a bit.
